Grant
All of my demons are coming to head. I thought Ari could push them back. I thought I could conquer my vices with her at my side.
I thought wrong.
Aribel
Fear is my new constant. I thought I could conceal it, contain it, control it. I thought that now that I had Grant the worst was over.
I thought wrong.
But if we’re going to survive, wherever you go…take me with you.

Grant practically bounded across the room until he was directly in front of me. Then, his hands were cupping my cheeks so tenderly that it was as if he thought I might break in half. Without a word, his mouth dropped down on mine, and the kiss was as light as a feather. It was a question, a soft and delicate question, one he had never asked before—permission. When I didn’t pull away from him, he received his answer. The kiss deepened, and he coaxed all the anger out of me. He drew it out as if sucking venom from an open wound. He kissed me so heatedly and lovingly that not even a drop remained. All that was left was a bottomless well of emotions of how much I loved and missed him. When I came back into the moment, I heard the catcalls and yells from the people around us. It was then I remembered that we were in a crowded room, surrounded by people, and Grant had kissed the breath out of me. I flushed from head to toe at the attention, but he wouldn’t let me pull away. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “I shouldn’t have blown up on you. I shouldn’t have done anything. You’re all that matters.” I stared up at him in confusion. “Who are you, and what have you done with Grant McDermott?” He laughed that beautiful glorious laugh, and a smile lit up his whole face. It was that damn smile that had won me over in the first place. “Run away with me,” he murmured. “What?” “Run away with me. Let’s get out of here.” “Where are we going?” “Anywhere. Everywhere.”

What I Loved
Wow well I am a
HUGE fan of K.A. Linde and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Take Me with You
and this story was everything I hoped it would be and more! This story picks up a little while after Take
Me for Granted ended with a little bit more settled Grant and Aribel. It’s so wonderful to see Grant and Aribel
more committed to each other with the realization that they both love each
other very much. Grant once again is as
sexy as ever with his beautiful face, and talented fingers. Not only is Grant back but his awesome band
ContraBand has come along for the ride.
Of course with every K.A. Linde story
there are tons of ups and downs and some jaw dropping moments and Take Me with
You is filled with them! I love the
chemistry between Grant and Aribel and boy oh boy the chemistry leads some very
hot naked scenes between these two that definitely left me blushing a
little. I mean who doesn’t love naked
Grant McDermott? I also loved that
although Aribel and Grant are in love with each other, things aren’t boring AT
ALL. There is still plenty of drama to
go around between these two.
I love that not only has Aribel and
Grant’s relationship peaked my interest but so did Miller and Shelby (and
Sidney) and Vin and Cheyenne as well. I
truly would love another series just all by themselves because all these
characters are so awesome. I love
stories when I don’t only get engrossed in the main characters but the
supporting characters as well. I don’t
just want a happy ending for Aribel and Grant I want it for all of them!
Not So Much
I really don’t have
a ton of complaints when it comes to this book because it was so freaking
awesome. I guess my only negative thing
is that usually I absolutely LOVE the female lead character and although I
really like Aribel there are things about her that hold me back from absolutely
loving her. I think it’s her constantly
trying to make sense of everything that kind of gets on my nerves, because I’m
more of an emotional person who follows their heart (even when I shouldn’t) so
people who are just too much in their head are sort of a turn off to me. Although I really do like Aribel, I can’t get
upset that she’s exactly like me and I still root her happiness!
To Sum It All Up!
Like I said in the beginning I
couldn’t wait to start reading this book and I was so excited about it that I
read in about two days, I’m pretty sure I was up till 3 in the morning this
weekend reading in the dark because I couldn’t this story down! I was so
excited to jump back into Grant and Ari’s world and find out what’s in store for
them next. It was great to once again
experience their love for each other and watch as they grow together as a
couple and as individuals. I love that
this story switches points of views so you get to see what’s going on in
Grant’s life as well as Aribel’s. There
was definitely some heart pounding moments along with heart breaking ones, and
I love stories that deliver the drama! I
can’t wait to see where Grant and Aribel go from here as well as the rest of
the gang!
