If you love Damaged by H.M. Ward, If I Were You by Lisa Renee Jones, and Fixed on You by Laurelin Paige
Basic Summary: Sean Ferro is my addiction. I can’t tell him no, no matter what he asks
for, and I know there are so many dark questions behind those blue eyes,
so many things he wants me to do with
him.
When I
watch him go down on one knee, with his sexy body covered in sand, and hold up
a glittering ring, I can barely stand.
It looks like he’s going to propose, and I know exactly what I’m going
to say.
What I Love About
This Book: I love that every book
has a really great cliff hanger, and I love love love Sean Ferro. He’s a total hottie, who is rich, tortured, heartbroken,
and very dark. I love that he is finally
letting down his defenses and throughout this series you finally get some
answers to questions I had from the Damaged series that was set around his
younger brother Pete. Also the sex scene
is in this was very hot, literally and figuratively, although I wish there was
a little bit more detail and a little longer.
Cons: I’m kind of over this series as a whole
because they kind of just need to end. I
felt like the last one, The Arrangement 10 short story was a waste, and it’s just a great way for
someone to make a lot of money. The
story is kind of being strung along now and it’s not fair to keep leading
people on making them pay for each individual short story and not having any
real conclusion to look forward to. The cliffhangers are awesome and effective, I can't get enough but we're starting to jump the shark and I'm starting to lose interest.
Also I’m
sick and tired that every time Sean and Avery have a fight she walks away going
“this is it! I’ll never see him again” then five minutes later there he
is! It’s an annoying cycle that I expect
from High School girls, not a call girl working on getting her masters. Enough is enough!!
Overall: I’m glad he finally asked her, I like the
twist at the end of this story because it’s making it more of a mystery then
just a plain old romance. I get there is
a bigger picture here going on with the characters but it’s time to start
wrapping this all up and moving on. I
hope one day all these short stories are put into one whole book or a trilogy
or something. I didn't feel like this
one was a waste of a story taking up pages like The Arrangement 10 was. I love Sean Ferro and Avery is a great
protagonist.
