What I loved About This Book
First of all, hot damn!!! Horse is probably the hottest biker character I have ever read.  There isn't enough time to write about just how awesome he is, you just have to read this book and find out for yourself.  I think what I liked most about Horse is that you can’t really ever figure him out, he’s very dynamic and complex which to makes him more of a realistic character than just purely fictional.  I think the same thing can be said for Marie as well, she to me is definitely has a more down to earth personality than I have read in other books which it makes easy to relate to.  I think every character in this book is a person that on some level we have all come into contact with, and that what I love most about this book.  I like characters that are more earthy and real because it makes it easier for me to become more emotionally invested in the story.

Also I like how this book just laid out the realities of motorcycle clubs pretty plainly.  Motorcycle Club society can be very complex  and difficult to understand especially if it’s something you have never even heard of, but this book definitely gives you an overview that is easy to understand and grasp.  I think Marie’s reactions to things within the Reapers MC was how any normal human being would react to this whole new way of life.  I like how it’s a gradual induction for Marie to the MC, I hate when characters are thinking one way and then in the next paragraph they are thinking in a completely different way.  To me, Marie’s evolution with the Reapers felt very natural and human rather than robotic and not consistent.

Not So Much
I don’t have a lot of complaints about this book.  I kind of would've liked to have seen more of Marie’s mother.  I feel like for a daughter who loves her mom I wish there was more of her in this book and maybe going into that back story a little bit more.  You kind of knew why her mother was jail but I would've liked more detail.  I felt like Marie’s back story in general could’ve been a little bit more detailed as well as Horse’s.  You meet his sister but you don’t really much else about his family or really even meet them, which is a little odd to me.  You get to know the members of the MC pretty well but very little is mentioned about his family.  I did feel like the story was a little slow at times but I never got bored, and I appreciated it when it would speed up again and the author definitely knew when it could zoom ahead or when it was appropriate to slow down.

Overall

This was an awesome story!!  The ending just blew my freaking mind and I had a couple moments of panic but I was able to pull myself together.  With any crazy story that sucks you in instantly there are guaranteed to be some tear jerker moments and there were definitely a couple in this book, but that’s what I love!!  I love when books bring me along on their crazy roller coaster ride and I was so glad to be apart of this one.  Horse is freaking awesome, I love badass bikers and he is totally the baddest of them all.  It would definitely take a special lady to put up with someone like him and Marie is just the lady for the job.  The chemistry between them was nothing less then boiling, and the sex scenes between the two were incredible.  The details in this book were pretty good and it was easy to understand the world around these people with what the author provided, I didn’t have to use too much of imagination which I like.  This series is awesome and I can’t wait to read the next book!!!!
