Laura’s Review of I Belong to You (Inside Out #5) by Lisa Renee Jones

Synopsis
Master…

Being that person, that man is how I define myself, how I allow the rest of the world to define me as well. And now, with a terrible loss shredding me inside out and someone trying to destroy my family to punish me, control is more important than ever. It is everything. It is what I need. It is all I need. Or maybe I just need…her.

What I Loved
First off let me tell you just how much I love this entire series.  There are so manytwists and turns in each book, with so many mysteries and drama that I can’t get enough of it.  I Belong to You fulfilled all of my Inside Out needs, and then some!  Mark has been so mysterious and allusive in this series that I just couldn't wait to dive into his head and see what is really going on in his world.  Plus even though he has been a dick at times and certainly an asshole at other times, I still really wanted him to have a happy ending or at least find his own happiness.  It was so great to see things from his point of view as well as Crystal’s and watch them find their way in the world.

Also, I absolutely love Crystal, she is a take no prisoners kind of girl which is right my alley and I couldn't get enough of her driving Mark crazy at times.  I love that not only does she give Mark a run for his money; she can run a successful company by herself and be willing to open her heart to new love all at the same time.  I became a huge fan of hers from No In Between so it was so wonderful to see Mark and her fall in love.  They are definitely kindred spirits each fighting the demons of their past. Not only did the chemistry between Mark and Crystal sizzle it lead to some very hot sex scenes that I wish I could read over and over again.  Mark could be the master of me any day if he wanted to!

Not So Much
There wasn't too much I disliked about this book since this was a five star rating for me.  I cannot get enough of this series and a part of me wants it go on forever.  I guess my only negative is that some of the scenes felt a little rushed to me, I don’t want to say which ones because I don’t want to give anything away but there were things I wish were elaborated more.  I did feel like the epilogue was a little too hasty, there were certain things that were just kind of brushed upon but not really delved into. This is an ARC though so maybe more details will be added into the final copy so I can be totally wrong.

This Book Was…
Unbelievably awesome!  I couldn't wait to finally have a story be from Mark’s point of view!  He has always been alluring to me, knowing some of his past through Rebecca’s journals and seeing his present through Sara’s point of view you never really know what's going with just Mark.   After finishing I Belong to You I have completely fallen head over heels in love this man, and I cannot get enough of him and Crystal together.  After everything that happened with Rebecca I was hoping he would find some sort of peace in his life and I’m happy we finally got to see that.  There are definitely some nail biting scenes that had my heart racing, but I love books that can do that to me.  A part of me wants this series to go on forever but another part of me wants to know answers to the many questions I have.  It's so rare for me to come across a book that I truly don't know how it will all end and every single book in this series I have no idea where it's going to take me and I absolutely love it!
