Laura’s Review of Platinum (All That Glitters, #3) By K.A Linde

Synopsis
Cheating is my hard limit.

The only thing I truly fear.

My heart was shattered once before, and I swore it would never happen again. This time I chose the safe guy who wouldn’t destroy me. Turns out…they don’t exist.

So when the sexiest Brit I’ve ever met dances right into my life, I offer him a one night stand. No strings attached. My perfect rebound, with zero chance of betrayal. It’s everything I hoped for. But he demands more than I’m willing to give.

I refuse to be fooled again, because I know a man I can count on is rarer than… Platinum.

Follow the conclusion to Trihn’s story in this sexy, heart stopping fourth book in USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde’s All That Glitters series.
What I Loved
After reading Emeralds and becoming hooked on Trihn’s story I couldn’t wait to see what road she would go down next.  In Platinum, she is once again heartbroken over another failed relationship and not looking for love when it comes slamming into her life in the form of a really hot DJ named Damon.

Trihn is a character that sucked me in immediately because it’s easy for any girl to relate to a broken heart and weary of what comes next especially when it has to do with relationships.  I loved the instant chemistry between Daman and Trihn and their sex scenes were nothing less than sizzling.  What I also loved about Trihn is how talented and accomplished she is at such a young age.  Man or not in her life, she has a ton going for her and you know whatever she chooses to do with her life she will be successful in it guaranteed.  Not only does she have a ton of talent she’s humble and friendly opening her up to a great group of family and friends.

When it comes to Damon he is pretty much perfect in every way.  He meets Trihn and puts it all on the line to be with her.  He recognizes her fears and insecurities and instead of losing his patience with her he’s honest and supportive.  Not to mention he is crazy talented as well and beautiful which just adds to the complete remarkable package that is Damon Stone.
Not So Much
My only big complaint is that I felt like some story lines were kind of left hanging.  I don’t want to give anything away but there was an issue with Damon’s cell phone and there seems to be a bit of foreshadowing with it but then it was never really concluded.  There were a couple of other elements that I felt like weren’t completely addressed as well.  Maybe that’s because this series isn’t over and will be addressed later so I don’t want to completely knock down the plot line because of it.  Plus, this was an ARC and those little things could be addressed in the final draft.

To Sum It All Up!

Overall this was another awesome story in this series! Trihn had my heart from the very beginning and I just wanted her to find her happy ending and resolve everything with her sister so badly!!  The minute Trihn meets Damon you know amazing things are going to happen between these two and boy does it ever.  There is a ton going on in this book in both Damon and Trihn’s lives and it all adds to their relationship rather than distracting you.

The writing is once again excellent along with building of a solid foundation.  Trihn’s story hooks you instantly and keeps you captivated till the very end.  I never felt like the story got boring or sped along too fast.  I just wish that I could get more Trihn and Damon because I love them together so much!!  I’m excited to finally get to Stacia’s story though because much like Trihn she is a lady that intrigues me.  K.A. Linde has once again created another awesome series and each book in it adds to the overall massive appeal and proves why she is such a great author!
