Kari’s 5 Star Review
Summary
You've met Jack from "A Reason To Breathe" now meet his cousin and lumberjack Max, Max Hunter or as Mia likes to call him Thor, God of Thunder
You know what they say about lust at first sight.....It's a seven deadly sin but when you sin . . . you sin hard.

Max Hunter has a problem, well, two, actually. One he fished out of the river and the other...A killer.

Mia Roberts has a problem that stands six foot five and swings an axe like a God. On assignment to study the grizzlies of the Alaskan frontier, she stumbles across a body and then stumbles into the arms of a lumberjack she can't resist.
Throw in Max's mother, a handful of crazy friends and family and you have a recipe for adventure.

This was HILARIOUS so I kept it in the review——->Rated B for Bossy, F for funny, T for Thor, God of Thunder, R for language, explicit sexual content and EDIBLE UNDIES. For mature audiences only. 18 and above.

What I loved
CP has an amazing ability to create these new and interesting locations, occupations, and situations. That’s a whole bunch of -ations. LOL. So the story takes place in small-town Alaska. Mia, super geek-chic, was on the job to try and collect data pertaining to bears in the woods, where she meets Max, cousin of previous alpha-cop, Jack, and also lumberjack, alpha-male Thor-extraordinaire. The chemistry was instant, and the bossiness came full force in waves.

Something else I absolutely adored in this installment, was the humor brought to the table by Max’s mom. I mean, she sells sex toys. Sometimes door to door. The antics and the way that Max sometimes walks in and has to just stop and shake his head, is a completely relatable trait.

What I Didn’t Love
I really have to say that there wasn’t much that I didn’t love about Max and Mia’s story. If there was something I absolutely had to nitpick at, it would be the fact that I wanted more.  I laughed so much and got all warm and squishy all over, I didn’t want it to end. Also, maybe, a bit more dirty talk from alpha-Max!!

Overall

CP did it again. She took me to a place where love, lust and complete escapism sucked me in. Since her first novel, A Reason To Breathe, CP and I have interacted some. Not only has she grown as a talent, she has captured my heart on a real level. She doesn’t write to score a spot on the best-sellers list, although her work is good enough for it, but because she loves to do it. It shows so much in this latest work of art. Please take the time and meet all the other characters as well as Mia and Max.
