Laura’s Review of No in Between (Inside Out, #4) by Lisa Renee Jones

If you have read and enjoyed Heated (Most Wanted, #2) by J. Kenner, Everything for Us (The Bad Boys, #3) by M. Leighton, and Convicted (Consequences, #3) by Aleatha Romig then you will LOVE this book!

Synopsis
The fourth in the Inside Out erotic romance series by New York Times bestselling author Lisa Renee Jones, this steamy novel resolves Chris and Sarah's relationship and leads into Mark's story.

"Chris and I have faced our demons and bared our souls to one another in Paris. Now that we are back home in San Francisco, I want to believe that nothing can tear us apart. Not Ava’s accusations against me to the police, or Chris's fear that he will destroy me as he feels he did Amber. And not Mark, who was once too intimately a part of our lives, and who I can see crumbling inside out. He believes he is invincible, just as I want to believe Chris and I are invincible. We have to be invincible. We need each other too much for any other ending."
What I Loved
I of course could not wait to jump back into the world of Chris Merit and Sara McMillan and once again unravel the mystery that is Rebecca Mason.  This book starts off right where Revealing Us left off, Chris and Sara have traveled back to San Francisco and are once again, dropped back into the drama that they had left behind.   This story definitely had me guessing from the very first word to the very last one.  I was probably on edge the entire time I was reading and love every minute of it!

I love all the mysteries in this series, there is so much going on and every time a question is answered, ten more questions pop up in their place.  Plus, I absolutely love the chemistry between Sara and Chris and it’s nice to see them more settled and committed to each other.  It can get tiring when couples go back and forth throughout the entire series, so it’s nice to see that isn't really the case with these two anymore.  With all the craziness that is this series, there still is that sensual under current that started the moment Sara met Chris and hasn't stopped.  I can't get enough of Chris Merit and after reading this one, I love even more!

Not So Much
There are so many twists and turns in this series that constantly keep you on the edge of your seat, I absolutely couldn't get enough of it all.  Saying that, I felt like this book was more of a filler in the series because not a lot of progress was made as far as finding Ella and I still have many questions about Rebecca even though you do get some answers.  In Revealing Us what was going on with Ella was a prime part of the story and the epilogue totally left you hanging as far as if she’s alive or if she’s danger, but not one thing about that plot is addressed in this book.  It was like the plot was just left hanging out there and almost forgotten.

There is just so much going on, and so many different plot lines it’s hard to really keep a straight head and address one issue at a time.  It was just one thing after the other throughout the entire book with very little forward progress, that left me with more questions.  I just don’t want to get tired of this story because nothing is really ever answered and there is little forward movement.

This Book Was…

Pretty good! I really do love this series and I cannot freaking wait to finally figure out what the hell is going on with Mark and Ryan, what really happened to Rebecca, and where is Ella?  I have so many questions and I just want them answered!  The sexual chemistry between Chris and Sara is sizzling and I love that they seem to get enough each other.  I wish we got to see more of their chemistry in this as we have in the past books but I get there is just so much going on.  You do get to meet a couple of new characters that definitely add to the overall plot, and I can already tell you I am head over heels in love with David. Great ending, with a very intriguing epilogue, I am excited to see how all that will play out in the next book.  I cannot wait to get my hands on I Belong to You, I think it’s from Mark POV (not too sure though) but I’m completely okay with that as long we start to get more answers!
