Summary: Lucian
Bane’s inner Dom is out of control and hungry for things he can’t name. When he
signs up for Dom Wars, he meets Tara who is naive to the BDSM world. Her
reckless dominance and puritan heart fascinate him. But when he discovers the

What I Loved: Smut
Fanatics from time to time will post the question, “What are you currently
reading?” on our Facebook page. I
noticed a lot of followers responded with Dom Wars. I never heard of it, so I
checked it out on Goodreads, read the summary, thought to myself…hey, I am
always up for BFSM fun, and it’s a short read (131 pages). Ok, here we go! I
feel the need to always point out when there is an interesting story line. SOO
many books fall into the same plot that I like to give kudos to the authors who
keep me interested with something new.
Thank you, Lucian Bane. The sex was hot and bold not too over the top.
Bane does a great job of holding back, especially the beginning scenes with
Tara and Lucian. I felt the passion that
was between them and couldn’t wait for them to get their fuck on ;) I am not a huge fan of reality shows but I think I would watch this one if someone decided to air it.
Not So Much: I only have two small complaints but nothing crazy.
One, the pace of the book was a little too fast for me. I love the characters
and feel they have a lot more to offer which I am hoping Bane will get into
more details in the second book. Some
aspects of Tara, I was not too crazy about either. Finally, I would like to note that I was slightly
lost in the beginning of the book and it took me a few minutes to figure out
what was going on but once it dawned on me, the rest of the book flowed well. That
might have been a Lauren issue and not the book.
