What I Loved

On top of this
being a story of two people finding a way through the darkness of Pimlico’s
past life there are all these lies and secrets flying around Elder and that
made him so appealing to me. I want to
know more about him, I want to uncover everything about him and I can’t wait
until that happens. Not only did Pimlico
suck me into this book but Elder certainly did as well and I love that the book
switches from both their points of view.
When Elder was suffering from not being able to breakthrough to Pimlico
or just wanted to hold her I could feel that frustration too and my heart broke
for him.
Not So Much
I have no real complaints about this
book I’m a big Pepper Winters addict so this will be a very short section. I do wish the plot moved a long a little
quicker, I felt like every time the relationship between Elder and Pimlico was
going somewhere there would be another wrench thrown and it became almost too
frustrating. I do hope the next book
shows more progress between the two of them or at least more action pushing the
plot towards a purpose.
To Sum It All Up!

Pimlico is just beginning to recover
physically throughout most of this story, but mentally she’s just starting to
address the many issues she will probably have for the rest of her life because
of Alrek. There is some movement forward
when it comes to her recovery but be prepared for not getting many questions
answered when it comes to her past or Elder’s for that matter. I can’t wait to get these questions I have swirling
in my head answered and as I read more of this story I had more questions I
wanted answered. I love this series so
much, and I can truly say that any theories I might have as to how this series
will go will probably be obliviated. I
love books that can keep me on my toes and this one did from the very start.
