What I
Loved
Well first of all this Series gripped me from the very beginning, I
ccouldn't put Promised down, and the same can be said for this installment as
well. There is something about Miller
Hart that grips you from the very beginning and you never want him to let
go! You want to be the person to pick up
all the broken pieces of his soul and put him back together and just love him
forever. I won’t give anything away but
you do find out more information of why Miller is the way he is, which I loved
because it’s annoying to be dragged around too long when it comes to certain
mysteries.
I loved how passionate Livy is about
Miller, she is determined to be the light in his darkness and it’s so wonderful
to watch her grow into this role as Miller Hart’s someone. The sexual tension is right at the surface
from the moment these two lay eyes on each other, so much so that the two of
them just being in the same room would make me giddy. There were times when my heart was racing,
there were other times when I was teary eyed and some times when I had a
devious smile on my face while reading. The
sex scenes made the story beyond steamy, and it just made me want Miller to be
absolutely naked in every single scene.
Not So
Much
Overall this was a
great story, and I loved all the action and twists and turns this story took,
but I wish the drama was a little less.
At a certain point towards the end of the book I just wanted to scream “Jesus,
can’t they have just one good day!”
There was literally drama Miller and Livy’s lives every single day, and
sometimes multiple times a day. It would’ve
been nice if they had just one day where they could enjoy each other without
outside elements constantly testing their relationship. It made the story just a little too unbelievable
to me, I get that this is fiction and it’s all not real life but sometimes too
much is just too much. But that is just
my opinion and the maybe the reason I feel this way is because I love these two
so much I just want them to be happy. Other than that, I absolutely LOVED this
story.
To Sum
It All Up!
