Laura's Review of Dom Wars Round 3 & 4 by Lucian Bane

Synopsis

Round three and four is all about Demon Domination for both Tara and Lucian. How far are they willing to go to stay in the game? How far is Lucian willing to go to win Tara for good?

What I Loved

                I really enjoy reading these stories, they very quick and to the point and it is great to see Lucian and Tara level up after all the nonsense they have to go through.  It’s so easy to fall in love with Lucian and eventually become Tara’s number one fan.  I love the character of Steve, it’s so great to see another person on team Lucian and Tara and help them out through all of this.  I think I enjoyed Round 4 a little bit more than Round 3 because I felt like in Round 4, Tara and Lucian had taken a big step in the right direction as far as their relationship together and I was happy about that.  I also think there was a bit more ups and downs in Round 4, and it ended with a little bit of a cliff hangers, which I am a big fan of. 

            I love the chemistry between Lucian and Tara; both of these short stories are filled with some pretty hot and steamy sex scenes, which I loved every minute of!  Give me a hot sexy Dom who is head over heels in love with his/her sub any day of the week.  I will read it from cover to cover every single time! I also love the fact that Tara thrives as a Dom in certain aspects, and Lucian loves being a sub.  I definitely feel like that is a more realistic way of looking at BDSM relationships, it breaks the mold of the man just being the Dom, and the woman just being the sub.   Every human being is different and wants different things, so it’s nice to see a different aspect of this type of relationship.

Not So Much

            I totally love this series, and it’s such a great read.  Saying that I do feel like these stories could be a little longer (or maybe I just want it to be longer).  I guess I would just like to see more details added in; like when they are Lucian’s house it would’ve been great to get a real description of his boyhood bedroom.  I would’ve loved to have read if there were any pictures of him as a child, or just some more insight to who Lucian was a young boy.  The same can be said Tara, she talks about her parents abandoning her and her grandmother raising her, but I would’ve have to love to have read what Tara was like as a girl.  I guess that’s because I just love Tara and Lucian so much, so I just want to get to know everything about them. 

   

This Book Was…

                Pretty good!!  I really love this series, Lucian Bane has a way of spinning this magical world that immediately sucks you in and has you rooting for the main characters every step of the way.  I cannot wait to dive into Round 5 and find out what is in store for them with the new plot twist at the end! Like I said before I LOVE Steve, he is such a funny great character that definitely adds to the plot rather than taking away from the story.
