Laura's Ranking of all those wonderful Rich, Hot, Alpha-Male Series!!!
- James
Cavendish
(In Flight Series) by R.K. Lilley – To me he is the most serious of the Doms, instead of a
red room of pain James has an entire floor to torture young subs. This series has some seriously hottttttttt
scenes, one takes place while riding a horse! He’s rich, controlling, and a
licensed body piercer and can’t get enough of Bianca and I can’t get enough of
him! He’s probably my favorite because the writing is really good on top of the
storyline being killer. When James is
upset you fear his rage just as much as Bianca does!
- Gabriel
Emerson
(Gabriel’s Inferno Series) by Sylvain Reynard – Not only is Gabriel a professor
who speaks several different languages he knows just how to seduce a
woman. He’s completely loaded, a
recovering drug addict, and needs that special someone to heal is broken
soul. I love these books because they
are smart, it’s not about the sex it’s about the seduction. His devotion to Julia is mesmerizing and I
just can’t get enough of him.
- Christian
Grey
(50 Shades of Grey Series) by E.L. James – It all started with him and he
will always have a special place in my heart.
He is rich, controlling, and 50 shades of fucked up! How can you not
love a man who has introduced us to the wonderful world of BDSM and take you on
the roller coaster ride that is his life.
He moves quickly when he knows what he wants and that just so happens to
be the love of his life Anastasia Steele.
The writing style is what makes him number three instead of one, while
the storyline is great and hello its Christian Grey but sometimes I feel like
the writing was a little elementary compared to Sylvain Reynard and R.K.
Lilley.
- Ethan
Blackstone
(The Blackstone Affair Series) by Raine Miller
– Not only is this hot guy aggressive he’s ex-marine and the head of the one
the biggest security firms in England.
Not only can he buy you anything you want, you will never be in danger
when he is around. He’s is an excellent
alpha male who can’t wait to start a family with his now beautiful wife Brynne
Bennett. He’s a man that appreciates
art, as a well as a woman’s naked body and who wouldn’t love that in a man? I
love that book one is from Brynne’s point of view and the second book goes to
Ethan’s point of view it adds a twist to these alpha rich male books and makes
me fall for Ethan Blackstone even more.
- Damien
Stark (Stark
Trilogy Series) by J. Kenner – Who doesn’t love a rich hot man that is an athlete on
top of being a total technology nerd?
Damien has so many elements to him; it’s hard to pick which one is the
best. He appreciates art so much he’s
willing to pay a million dollars to not only get the art piece he wants but the
woman as well. He might not be a totally
serious Dom when it comes to his relationship with Nikki Fairchild put when he
is in the mood to tie her up and make her beg you know just how hot he can
be. I love that there is a murder trial
set in all of this up and down romance; it adds a unique element to the plot
that sets it apart from the other series.
- Lucien
Knight
(The Knight Series) by Kitty French – He might seem a bit cold at first, but deep down he is
a hot Scandinavian Viking who can be very very inventive when it comes to
sex. Not only is he hot, rich, and an
alpha male he runs one of the most successful sex industries in the world. He has found a way to make money on the one
thing that all of these books have in common, sex! He can take you anywhere in
the world and seduce you on every square inch of the earth. What more could you ask for? This story line
takes a twist because Sophie is a married woman when she meets Lucien which
just adds to the emotional roller coast this series puts you through.
- Jack
Henry MacLachlan
(Beauty Series) by Georgia Cates – If there was anyone who can make me want to travel
down under its Jack Henry. He is a hot
reclusive man, who has worked out his strategy on how to bed women perfectly
without getting too attached that is until he meets Laurelyn Prescott and falls
madly in love with her. He owns many
vineyards, is close with his family and knows how to seduce a lady. He not only gets what he wants, he’s willing
to travel across the world and go on tour with Laurelyn just so they can be
together. SWOON! I like this series a
lot because Laurelyn’s success is just as important as Jack Henry’s and he
makes a lot of sacrifices in the second book just so he can be with her while
she goes on tour. Laurelyn isn’t whiney
and she isn’t down on herself like some of the leading female characters she
brings a lot to the table as far as talents go and knows exactly what she can
offer in a relationship.
- Braden
Carmicheal (On
Dublin Street Series) by Samantha Young—Braden
is hot rich, Scottish and did I mention hot?
He randomly meets Jocelyn in the back of a cab and ever since then he is
mesmerized by her. He is rich and very
powerful and is willing to seduce a lady in the back of bar to get what he
wants. Jocelyn tried to fight him off
but when someone like Braden wants you, you just have no hope. I love this series because of the background
characters in this book, with both their friends and family there is a support
system and background stories that really suck you into everyone’s lives not
just Braden and Jocelyn’s.
- Gideon
Cross
(Crossfire Series) by Sylvia Day – For a man that owns most of Manhattan he sure can make
time for the love of his life Eva Trammell.
He can’t stop himself from trying to protect Eva, and there is nothing
he won’t do for her, including murder.
He has a bad temper and his jealous streak can be pretty scary but that
just adds to his hotness. Gideon always
needs to be in control and not just when it comes to his businesses he needs to
be in control in bedroom too. He’s a
little farther down on the list then most might put him, but its only because
some of the places him and Eva have sex are a tad inappropriate to me and don’t
really add to the storyline. Eva is a
bit whiney to me after a while and it gets a little annoying by the end of book
two and somewhat continues into book three but fades away. I like that this series has now turned into a
little bit of a mystery storyline now breaking away from the other alpha male
series.
- Gavin
Blake
(Collide Series) by Gail McHugh – Emily Cooper didn’t know what hit her when she first
laid eyes on Gavin Blake while delivering food.
But Gavin saw what he wanted and immediately went in for the kill. He’s rich, a notorious playboy, and will do
anything to get Emily to dump that horrible boyfriend of hers and fall madly in
love with him. This series is unique
because Emily is not only dating a total asshole, but she is in deep denial
which almost breaks her completely. It’s
a little annoying towards the end of book one because after a while Emily
starts to come off as stupid for not realizing that Dillon is cheating on her
and Gavin hasn’t lied to her. The whole
denial things for me went one step too far because of the fact that it became
annoying but other than that bring on Gavin Blake!!
- Jesse
Ward
(This Man Series) by Jodi Ellen Malpas – Jesse Ward is crazy; there is no
other way to explain his out of control temper, and his unreasonable jealous
streak. By the end of the series when
you find exactly why he is the way he is you just fall in love with him even
more. As Lord of the Manor he’s learned
a lot about sex that any woman would beg him to teach. Although he’s gotten around a lot through his
younger years, the minute he lays eyes on Ava there is no other woman that
exists in his world. He stomps into her
life and won’t leave until her last name becomes Ward. I put him farther down on the list because it
really annoys me throughout the entire series how he can’t understand why Ava
hates the Manor. Then on top of that
makes them have their wedding there.
What woman would want to get married in a place that makes her
uncomfortable?? His ignorance in this situation annoys me and is inconsistent
with his character because he’s so smart and observant in every other way so it
takes away from the plot for me.
- Anthony
Rawlings
(Consequences Series) by Althea Romig – Mr. Rawlings is the man you love
to hate, and hate to love. He is devious,
conniving, can’t be trusted, and violent.
Yet by the end of book two he becomes your hero, the knight in shining
armor for Claire Nichols. The only thing
Anthony Rawlings is concerned with is revenge, until his target becomes his
love that is. You want him to leave
Claire alone in one book, but can’t wait for the scenes where he is included in
the book two. His past is complicated and dark, and all the missing pieces of
him as a man have finally started to come together…or so we think. He’s last on my list because this series is
really erotica like the other books but he’s on here because he is an alpha
male. This series has seriously left me
with the worst book hangover of my life!
I can’t get him out of my head, and as much as I love you always have to
remember he arranged for Claire’s loved ones to die and can be extremely
violent.
